A recent poll conducted in seven battleground states has revealed a close race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris for the 2024 election. The survey, which included 600 registered voters in each state, showed little separation between the two candidates.
In North Carolina and Wisconsin, Trump and Harris are tied, while Harris leads Trump in Arizona, Georgia, and Michigan by small margins. Trump, on the other hand, has a lead in Nevada and Pennsylvania.

According to Democratic pollster Michael Bocian, the race is incredibly tight, with both candidates neck and neck in the polls. Overall, Trump holds a slight lead over Harris, with strong support from Democrats and Republicans in the surveyed states.
Independent voters seem evenly split between the two candidates, with a slight edge for Harris. When it comes to key issues, voters trust Trump more on the economy, inflation, and immigration, while they prefer Harris on housing affordability, abortion, healthcare, and empathy in leadership.
The poll also indicates that a higher percentage of voters believe Trump will advocate for American workers, and a majority view the national economy negatively. With the election approaching, both parties are gearing up for a close contest that could go down to the wire.
Comparisons to the 2020 election show that Harris is facing narrower margins than Biden did at the same time. Bocian notes that third-party support, which impacted the 2020 race, has significantly decreased, leading to a dead heat between Trump and Harris in the battleground states.
As the election draws near, the outcome remains uncertain, with both candidates vying for the support of undecided voters and emphasizing their strengths on critical issues.
