The SPFL return is on the horizon with the traditional Premier Sports Cup group stage getting the season up and running.
But it is the league fixtures for the campaign ahead that players, clubs and supporters and eagerly awaiting. All clubs involved in the first cup competition of the season - minus Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs - know their fate with the five mentioned not entering at this stage due to European involvement.
The Scottish Premiership, Championship, League One and Two campaigns quickly follow up the League Cup and it is all change across the leagues once again. Brendan Rodgers is back for the Hoops as they bid to defend their crown while promotion and relegation across the leagues last term means a number of new opponents, grounds and trips for all involved.

They will be come out at 9am.
When is the opening weekend of the new season?
The Scottish Premiership, Championship, League One and Two will all kick off on the weekend of August 5/6.
