The 2023-2024 Georgia basketball schedule has been released. Georgia has a tough schedule that features nonconference games against Florida State, Oregon, Wake Forest and Miami.
The Bulldogs will rely on quite a few transfers this season, but they have a talented roster that should help Georgia improve on last year’s 16-16 record.
The Dawgs played a lot better in Year 1 under head coach Mark White. However, Georgia went only 6-12 in the SEC games and looks to improve on that record in 2023-2024. Georgia’s returning roster continuity should help the Bulldogs be a better SEC team.

Nov. 6: Oregon
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada (neutral)
Georgia will play Oregon in part of a doubleheader at T-Mobile Arena. Georgia’s season opener will not receive as much media attention as the USC versus Kansas State game in Las Vegas, which could feature Bronny James’ college debut.
Nov. 10: Wake Forest
Location: Athens, Georgia (home)
Georgia looks to get revenge against Wake Forest in UGA’s home opener at Stegeman Coliseum. Wake Forest topped Georgia last season and finished the year 19-14.
Nov. 12: North Carolina Central

Nov. 17: Miami
Location: Nassau, Bahamas (neutral)
Time: 3:30 ET
Georgia’s first regular-season tournament will take place in the Bahamas. The Miami Hurricanes made the Final Four last season. The two foes will compete as part of the Baha Mar Bahamas Hoops Nassau Championship from Nov. 17-19.

Providence and Kansas State are part of a trio of NCAA Tournament teams to play in the Baha Mar Bahamas Hoops Nassau Championship. Who Georgia plays depends on the result of the Dawgs’ first game.

Georgia lost a close game on the road at Georgia Tech last season. The Bulldogs will look at avenge last year’s 79-77 defeat in the friendly confines of Stegeman Coliseum.

North Florida will travel to face the Georgia Bulldogs. North Florida went 14-17 last season and won only three road games.

Georgia basketball hosts Alabama A&M after Christmas in late December. Alabama A&M went 15-18 during the 2022-2023 season.
Jan. 6: Missouri

Missouri went 25-10 last season including 11-7 in SEC games.

Location: Athens, Georgia (home)
Arkansas made the NCAA Tournament a year ago and should be a contender in the SEC again in 2023-2024.

Tennessee went 25-11 last season including 11-7 in SEC games. The Volunteers usually have a strong basketball team.
Jan. 16: South Carolina

The Gamecocks went 4-14 in SEC play and 11-21 overall last year.
Jan. 20: Kentucky

Kentucky is always a challenging place to play on the road. The Wildcats secured another great recruiting class and are looking to improve on last season’s 22-12 record.
Jan. 24: LSU
Location: Athens, Georgia (home)
LSU was the worst team in the SEC last season. The Tigers are still capable of giving Georgia some trouble.
Jan. 27: Florida
Location: Gainesvile, Florida (away)
Georgia coach Mike White left Florida to coach the Bulldogs. It will be interesting to see how Georgia’s basketball program is looking about 1.5 years into the Mike White era.
Jan. 31: Alabama
Location: Athens, Georgia (home)
Alabama won the SEC last year and was a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
