Michigan State has landed their 11th commit in the 2022 recruiting class in the form of Shannon Blair, a defensive back from Knoxville, Tennessee. A 3-star recruit, Blair plays his high school ball at Knoxville West High School as a wide receiver and defensive back.
Blair made his way to East Lansing for an official visit on the first weekend of June. He has been made a priority by defensive back’s coach Harlan Barnett and cornerbacks coach Tavares Tillman since they offered him in January.

Blair announced a top six earlier this month that consisted of MSU, Purdue, Memphis, Virginia, Duke and Wake Forest.
Blair has a good frame, standing at 6’1″ and weighing 170 pounds, and pairs it with good speed. It has been reported that Blair has clocked a 4.4 in the 40 yard dash on multiple occasions. A perfect blend of size and speed for the MSU DB staff to build on.
