2022 NFL draft order: Jets will pick 4th and 10th

The Jets’ first-round picks are set for the 2022 NFL draft after New York’s 4-13 campaign came to a close on Sunday.

The Jets’ own first-rounder will be the fourth pick. The pick they acquired from the Seahawks in the Jamal Adams trade will be the 10th pick after Seattle went 7-10.

Jacksonville, Detroit and Houston are the three teams drafting ahead of New York’s first pick. However, the Jets easily have the most valuable collection of picks — nine in total, according to Tankathon.

The Jets are not the only New York team with two top-10 picks. The Giants will pick fifth and seventh (via Bears) after Big Blue also went 4-13 with a slightly higher strength of schedule than their MetLife Stadium roommates.

The Jets could go a few different ways with their first-rounders. The secondary and pass rush are major needs with tantalizing prospects, and Gang Green could also use a No. 1 receiver, offensive line help, linebackers, and a tight end that can catch, though not all of those positions will necessarily be first-round targets.
