2022 ICC U-19 World Cup: All you need to know - fixtures, teams, dates, venues, live stream and TV timings

NEW DELHI: The rising cricketing stars from around the world are all set to take centre stage as the 14th edition of the ICC Men's U-19 Cricket World Cup kick-starts from 14th January in the West Indies. For the first time in the history of the biennial extravaganza, the Caribbean islands will be hosting the tournament that will see a total of 48 matches played across 4 venues -- Antigua, Guyana, Saint Kitts and Trinidad with Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound hosting the summit clash.

A total of 16 teams will be competing to lay their hands on the title. The teams have been divided into four groups where they will lock horns in Round Robin style to progress to the Plate and Super League phases. The final showdown is set for 5th February.

Four-time champions India (2000, 2008, 2012 and 2018), who are the most successful team in the history of the tournament will once again be strong title contenders and will be led by the dynamic Yash Dhull from Delhi. He will be hoping to become the third India captain from Delhi, after Virat Kohli and Unmukt Chand, to lead India to the u-19 World Cup title.

Here's all you need to know about the upcoming edition of the U-19 World Cup in the West Indies.

Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, England, India, Ireland, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Uganda, UAE, West Indies and Zimbabwe.

Dates - The tournament will run from 14th January to 5th February.

Group A - Bangladesh, England, Canada, UAE

Group B - India, Ireland, South Africa, Uganda

Group C - Afghanistan, Pakistan, PNG, Zimbabwe

Group D - Australia, Scotland, Sri Lanka, West Indies
