British Fashion Council
BFC has been a verificatory of new aptitude and ingenious intellects through fundraising and time and again it has recognized true talent by celebrating them through these awards. Marina Marandi and Tania Fares- Co-Chairs of The BFC Foundation proudly admit that “ When we created the BFC Foundation Patronage Programme at the end of 2020, we set an ambitious target of fundraising. Despite another tricky year for so many, an incredible group of individuals stepped forward to donate and support the BFC foundation and its grand giving initiatives. The fund
raised by the charity will allow us to continue the important work we do in supporting talented designers at all stages of their career as well as making sure that the fashion industry remains diverse and open to all”.
The fashion awards are the preliminary fundraiser for BFC FOUNDATION. The sentiment has sufficed politely to sponsor the future evolution and triumph of the British Fashion Industry by focusing on education, grant-giving, and business mentoring. Not only British Fashion leaders, but Fashion Patrons from all over the globe showed up in celebration. Jodie Smith arrived on the red carpet in Gucci declaring her love for the former creative head of the fashion house saying “ forever an Alessandro Michele fan” her neon green gown created a strong statement. While Rita Aora gracefully looked comfortable in a sheer layer wearing Nensi Dojaka with bleached brow concealer frills on the edge. While Pretty Little Lier muse Shay Mitchell to young British Influencer Danielle Marcan shows up to join the biggies of fashion. Fiorucci creates custom couture for Leighanne picock while Maya Jama brings her hat back in a stunning black dress by Sabina Bilenko Couture. Naomi Campbell calls London home in silver Valentino joining the awards evening.
