One of the top prospects in the state for the 2022 class will be on Michigan State’s campus on the eve of his planned commitment.
Four-star athlete Jaden Mangham will reportedly visit Michigan State on July 31 — one day prior to when he’ll be announcing his college decision. Last week, Mangham announced he will make his commitment on Aug. 1
Mangham is listed as the No. 7 player in Michigan and No. 287 national prospect in 247Sports composite rankings. He’s also ranked as the No. 15 athlete in the class.
Mangham holds scholarship offers from 36 schools, but has recently made it known that only six schools are still in the running for his talents: Michigan State, Michigan, Illinois, Nebraska, West Virginia and Georgia Tech.
Mangham is currently projected to commit to West Virginia but it’s definitely interesting to see that he will take one final visit to East Lansing before committing. Could that final visit potentially sway him to end up in green-and-white? Only time will tell.
