2021 NFL Draft: Two Round Mock Draft From The College Perspective

2021 NFL Draft: Two round mock draft with the calls on the picks along with other potential options and team needs.

Let’s do this already – here’s what’s going to happen over the first two rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Maybe.

There will be trades – but, as always, you can and should ignore any mock draft that projects trades that almost certainly will never, ever happen – so the goal here is to get it as close to the pin as possible when it comes to when and where a player should be selected.

Also, this doesn’t have anything to do with how good we think all these players are – that’s what our Top 105 Pro Prospects are for. This is about guessing where everyone will go.

Here we go.

32 Greatest Draft Picks of All-Time

1. Jacksonville

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: QB Trevor Lawrence, Clemson

This was done months ago. You can’t be a franchise like Jacksonville and not take this guy with this pick.

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. OT, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: None, but maybe trade down for an all-time haul of picks.

2. New York Jets

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: QB Zach Wilson, BYU

Here’s the thing about Wilson. If Trevor Lawrence doesn’t work for Jacksonville, whatever – it’s a pick that has to be made. Wilson is a call for the Jets, and if Justin Fields, or Trey Lance, or Mac Jones – or Sam Darnold, by the way – turns out to be special, this could be an all-time whiff.

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. CB, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: QB Mac Jones, Alabama

3. San Francisco (from Miami from Houston)

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: QB Mac Jones, Alabama

Jones appears to have emerged the No. 3, but he’s hardly a shot for the stars in terms of tools. Sort of like Zach Wilson for the Jets, this is one massive call if one of the other quarterbacks on the board turns into a superstar.

Team Needs 1. CB, 2. QB, 3. DT
Backup Mock Draft Call: QB Trey Lance, North Dakota State

4. Atlanta

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: TE Kyle Pitts, Florida

It’s going to be very, very, very tempting to go with one of the quarterbacks on the board, but Matt Ryan is hardly a problem. The Falcons have a shot at a generational talent at tight end – let someone else make a guess on a quarterback.

Team Needs 1. DE, 2. DB, 3. QB
Backup Mock Draft Call: QB Trey Lance, North Dakota State

5. Cincinnati

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: OT Penei Sewell, Oregon

It might be a whole lot of fun to give Joe Burrow a receiver like Ja’Marr Chase or DeVonta Smith. It might also be a whole lot of fun to give him a Hall-of-Fame caliber left tackle to keep him from getting annihilated. (Shhhhhh, Cincinnati could win the draft with Sewell.)

Team Needs 1. OL, 2. DE, 3. WR
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Ja’Marr Chase, LSU

6. Miami (from Philadelphia)

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: WR Ja’Marr Chase, LSU

It’s amazing how NFL-think works. Tua Tagovailoa was a rookie coming off a major injury and had little to no offensive superstar help around him, and yet the O was somehow his fault when he played like a rookie coming off a major injury. Give him a true NFL No. 1 target in Chase and let’s have some fun.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. OL, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR DeVonta Smith, Alabama

7. Detroit

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: WR Jaylen Waddle, Alabama

Now is when the draft gets funky. The first six picks should be close in some way, but Detroit might – and probably should – trade out of this pick to a quarterback-desperate team. Or, it gives Jared Goff a chance to succeed by handing him an elite weapon to work with. If it’s not Waddle or DeVonta Smith, it’ll be Ja’Marr Chase.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. DB, 3. OL
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR DeVonta Smith, Alabama

8. Carolina

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: OT Rashawn Slater, Northwestern

It’s a nice spot for the Panthers to be in. They have to go after more offensive production, and they have a relatively good value deal in Sam Darnold to make a deal if a top quarterback slides down here. It’ll be a pick for the infrastructure if they stick in the spot.

Team Needs 1. DB, 2. OT, 3. TE
Backup Mock Draft Call: OT/OG Alijah Vera-Tucker, USC

9. Denver

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: QB Trey Lance, North Dakota State

It’s going to be a franchise-defining moment for the Broncos. Do they stick with the Drew Lock experience, or do they go with whatever quarterback prospect slides here, and do they go with Trey Lance over Justin Fields – or Mac Jones – depending on who’s there? Or, do they stick with Lock and give him some O line help? Or, do they go with an upgrade at corner?

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. OT, 3. DB
Backup Mock Draft Call: QB Justin Fields, Ohio State

10. Dallas

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: CB Patrick Surtain, Alabama

Defense, defense, and more defense. The Cowboys have to take defensive guys and keep taking them, and then take more. Surtain makes way too much sense, but it’s a corner-rich draft and a few other options wouldn’t be crazy here.

Team Needs 1. DB, 2. DT, 3. LB
Backup Mock Draft Call: CB Caleb Farley, Virginia Tech

11. New York Giants

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: LB Micah Parsons, Penn State

Parsons isn’t the true edge rusher the Giants need, and there’s a chance they could go with an offensive tackle to help keep Daniel Jones upright, but value-wise, both end and OT can be had later at the 42. Parsons is a potential game-wrecker of a talent who might just be one of the five best players in the draft.

Team Needs DE, WR, OT
Backup Mock Draft Call: DE Kwity Paye, Michigan

12. Philadelphia (from Miami from San Francisco)

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: WR DeVonta Smith, Alabama

Don’t just assume the Eagles will go receiver here. Of course it’s the biggest need, and of course it would be the fun pick to give Jalen Hurts a guy to throw to, but there’s receiver value at 37. There’s defensive back value there, too.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. LB, 3. CB
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Jaylen Waddle, Alabama

NEXT: 2021 NFL Mock Draft, First Round Picks 13-20

2021 NFL Mock Draft, First Round Picks 13-20

13. Los Angeles Chargers

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: OT/OG Alijah Vera-Tucker, USC

It would be NFL Draft malpractice to not do whatever it takes to keep Justin Herbert as healthy and happy as possible. The Chargers should have their choice of options for the O line, and Vera-Tucker brings the versatility to keep building up the front five.

Team Needs 1. OT, 2. DB, 3. DT
Backup Mock Draft Call: OT Christian Darrisaw, Virginia Tech

14. Minnesota

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: OT Christian Darrisaw, Virginia Tech

The Chargers will take one top offensive lineman, and the Vikings will take the other. If it’s not Christian Darrisaw, it’ll be Alijah Vera-Tucker – or Rashawn Slater if he slides. However, if Justin Fields or Trey Lance falls, watch out for the Vikings to move this pick to stockpile picks – they don’t have a second rounder. And that move might just be made with the team drafting with the 15 …

Team Needs 1. OT, 2. DE, 3. QB
Backup Mock Draft Call: OT/OG Alijah Vera-Tucker, USC

15. New England

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: QB Justin Fields, Ohio State

This is likely when the mock draft goes kablooey. If New England really does want to go with a quarterback, it’ll move up to get the guy it wants. However, the team needs wide receiver help even more. By the way, Bill Belichick, has a rough track record for picking quarterbacks other than the moon shot at 199 in 2000, and he’s even worse at drafting wide receivers outside of the Julian Edelman seventh round flier in 2009.

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. WR, 3. DL
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Kadarius Toney, Florida

16. Arizona

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: CB Jaycee Horn, South Carolina

Or Northwestern’s Greg Newsome, or Virginia Tech’s Caleb Farley if he’s still here – it’s going to be a corner. A wide receiver might be a luxury if one of the big names slides on down, but any help for the secondary is a must.

Team Needs 1. CB, 2. RB, 3. WR
Backup Mock Draft Call: CB Greg Newsome, Northwestern

17. Las Vegas

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: LB Jeremiah Owusu-Oramoah, Notre Dame

Big, giant, steaming pile of read-the-room call No. 1 – No. 2 (no snide jokes accepted) to come in a moment. The Raiders need defensive playmakers, they love big-time athletes, and they don’t tend to care a lick about value when it comes to getting their guys.

Owusu-Orahoah just fits as an all-around part of a defensive puzzle that needs a whole lot of pieces. It’s a wee bit high for the Notre Dame hybrid, but in that AFC West, you need guys who can run. However, the safe and sane call would be TCU’s Trevor Moehrig as the quarterback of the secondary.

Team Needs 1. OT, 2. LB, 3. S
Backup Mock Draft Call: S Trevor Moehrig, TCU

18. Miami

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: DE Kwity Paye, Michigan

It might be tempting to go with another wide receiver even after taking one – most likely – with the sixth overall pick, and a running back would be wonderful, but a top pass rusher is a need that has to be filled. There’s going to be fantastic value here.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. OL, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: DE Jaelan Phillips, Miami

19. Washington

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: QB Davis Mills, Stanford

And here’s the big, giant, steaming read-the-room call No. 2.

Don’t be the slightest bit shocked if 1) Mills goes a lot earlier than this and/or 2) goes ahead of one – and maybe two – of the big five quarterback prospects. Here’s part of the call – either someone freaks out that Chicago is going to take Mills and trades up, or the Football Team takes an offensive tackle that it needs very, very badly, and the Bears grab the QB.

Team Needs 1. OT, 2. QB, 3. LB
Backup Mock Draft Call: OT Teven Jenkins, Oklahoma State

20. Chicago

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: OT Teven Jenkins, Oklahoma State

We will never, ever, ever know if the Bears really wanted Davis Mills if he goes before this pick. After the Mitchell Trubisky fiasco, the trust in the powers-that-be isn’t going to be there to mortgage the future by trading up to get a quarterback. Offensive tackle is a must, and the Bears could go with one of the sliding corners still on the board.

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. OT, 3. CB
Backup Mock Draft Call: QB Davis Mills, Stanford

NEXT: 2021 NFL Mock Draft, First Round Picks 21-32

2021 NFL Mock Draft, First Round Picks 21-32

21. Indianapolis

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: DE Jaelan Phillips, Miami

The top offensive tackle options should be dried up by this point, but there should be value at corner and there will definitely be a few pass rushers in a light year for the position. Flip a coin between Jaelan Phillips and Jayson Oweh.

Team Needs 1. DE, 2. OT, 3. CB
Backup Mock Draft Call: DE/LB Jayson Oweh, Penn State

22. Tennessee

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: WR Kaderius Toney, Florida

The Titans need more dangerous guys to throw to. It could be Minnesota’s Rashod Bateman, or Purdue’s Rondale Moore, or LSU’s Terrace Marshall. Pick one of them – along with Kaderius Toney – out of a hat and you might be right.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. OT, 3. DB
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Rashod Bateman, Minnesota

23. New York Jets (from Seattle)

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: CB Greg Newsome, Northwestern

The fun call would be a franchise running back in Najee Harris or Travis Etienne to go along with the new franchise quarterback, but the Jets need a whole lot of defensive help, too. One of the top corners will slide down to here.

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. CB, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: RB Najee Harris, Alabama

24. Pittsburgh

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: RB Najee Harris, Alabama

The Steelers have to do a ton of work on the offensive line, but the value isn’t going to be there without a big reach – they can get someone for the front five at the 55. The line was a bigger problem than the backs for the horrendous running game, but the O needs a superstar do-it-all, face-of-the-franchise guy like Harris.

Team Needs
1. OT, 2. CB, 3. RB
Backup Mock Draft Call: C Landon Dickerson, Alabama

25. Jacksonville (from LA Rams)

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: WR Terrace Marshall, LSU

The Jaguars need more than just pop for the offense – an offensive tackle and defensive end would be nice – but they have two more picks coming up making it four in the first 45. They should have their pick of a few solid receiver options.

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. OT, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Elijah Moore, Ole Miss

26. Cleveland

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: LB/DE Jayson Oweh, Penn State

This might be the perfect situation for Oweh. He’s ultra-talented with a huge upside, but he might not be ready to become a superstar right out of the box. For a team that’s fine at end but needs to get younger, Oweh doesn’t have to be the main man. Going young on the defensive interior is an option, too.

Team Needs 1. DE, 2. DT, 3. OT
Backup Mock Draft Call: DT Christian Barmore, Alabama

27. Baltimore

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: WR Elijah Moore

Wide receiver, wide receiver, wide receiver. Lamar Jackson has a few nice targets, but he needs more of them to take the pressure off the ground game. The Ravens have other needs, but they can have their pick of sliding talents with Kansas City’s pick at the 31.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. DE, 3. S
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Rashad Bateman, Minnesota

28. New Orleans

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: CB Caleb Farley, Virginia Tech

The Saints are in a nice spot. They really need a wide receiver, and they really need a corner. Both positions should have at least one good option who’ll slide on down. The better value will be at corner. If it’s not Caleb Farley who falls to this spot, it’ll be a Jaycee Horn, or a Greg Newsome, or a Tyson Campbell … or a top receiver prospect.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. CB, 3. LB
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Rashad Bateman, Minnesota

29. Green Bay

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: CB Tyson Campbell, Georgia

The Packers have to get a cornerback, and they’re not going to want to reach for one – they might trade down to be a part of the next wave of strong options. Tyson Campbell with his size and 4.38 wheels would work just fine.

Team Needs 1. CB, 2. OT, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Rashad Bateman, Minnesota

30. Buffalo

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: LB Azeez Ojulari, Georgia

The Bills are in upgrade mode – there’s no glaring need other than for a high-end pass rusher. They can go with the Best Player Available – Tulsa LB Zaven Collins works – or they can go for the good value hybrid talent who could live in opposing backfields.

Team Needs 1. DE/EDGE, 2. RB, 3. CB
Backup Mock Draft Call: LB Zaven Collins, Tulsa

31. Baltimore (from Kansas City)

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: S Trevon Moehrig, TCU

There’s a shot the Ravens go with Moehrig at the 27 knowing that a receiver they might like should fall to the 31. Either way, they could use a solid safety, and Moehrig is the one who could instantly be the quarterback of the secondary.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. DE, 3. S
Backup Mock Draft Call: DE Carlos Basham, Wake Forest

32. Tampa Bay

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: DT Christian Barmore, Alabama

The Buccaneers are in the luxurious position of not really needing anything. This is where they go younger while getting help on a defensive interior that needs more options in the rotation.

Team Needs
1. DL, 2. WR, 3. QB
Backup Mock Draft Call: LB Zaven Collins, Tulsa

NEXT: 2021 NFL Draft Round 2 Mock Draft

2021 NFL Draft Round 2 Mock Draft

33. Jacksonville

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: RB Travis Etienne, Clemson

The Jaguars will have their quarterback, and they can get a top receiver at the 25. Now the skill spots are set for a long, long time.

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. OT, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: OT Alex Leatherwood, Alabama

34. New York Jets

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: WR Rashod Bateman, Minnesota

A few strong receivers will drop into the second round. The Jets can go defense with its pick at the 23 thinking a good target will fall here. will drop here.

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. CB, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: DE Terrell Basham, Wake Forest

35. Atlanta

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: LB Zaven Collins, Tulsa

He’s not really a need pick just like Kyle Pitts isn’t necessarily a need at tight end at the 4, but the value will be tremendous.

Team Needs 1. DE, 2. DB, 3. QB
Backup Mock Draft Call: DE Gregory Rousseau, Miami

36. Miami (from Houston)

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: LB Jamin Davis, Kentucky

Assuming Miami gets its receiver and pass rusher with its two first round picks, now it can go after defensive playmakers. Davis would instantly upgrade the athleticism in the linebacking corps.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. OL, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: OT Alex Leatherwood, Alabama

37. Philadelphia

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: CB Asante Samuel, Florida State

The next wave of good corner prospects starts up here. The Eagles have to go with the best defensive player on the board it if gets a receiver in the first round.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. LB, 3. CB
Backup Mock Draft Call: LB Nick Bolton, Missouri

38. Cincinnati

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: DE Terrell Basham, Wake Forest

The Bengals will past on a few top receivers to grab Penei Sewell at the five. They’ll think about receiver, but they need help for the defensive front, too.

Team Needs
1. OL, 2. DE, 3. WR
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Rondale Moore, Purdue

39. Carolina

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: WR Rondale Moore, Purdue

The offense needs some flashy help for Sam Darnold to shine. There should be a few good corners to choose from, but the coaching staff needs more playmaking stars to play with.

Team Needs
1. DB, 2. OT, 3. TE
Backup Mock Draft Call: CB Asante Samuel, Florida State

40. Denver

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: OT Alex Leatherwood, Alabama

If you’re going to take a quarterback at the 9 and reboot the franchise – and we think the Broncos will – then you have to build up the infrastructure around him.

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. OT, 3. DB
Backup Mock Draft Call: OT Liam Eichenberg, Notre Dame

41. Detroit

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: LB Nick Bolton, Missouri

Detroit will likely get its wide receiver at the 7, but it needs more defensive playmakers and leaders. Bolton could be the team’s leading tackler right out of the gate.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. DB, 3. OL
Backup Mock Draft Call: CB Eric Stokes, Georgia

42. New York Giants

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: OT Liam Eichenberg, Notre Dame

The Giants don’t always go according to form – it’s a Best Player Available team, for the most part – and it could use a defensive end or wide receiver. The offensive tackles are available here.

Team Needs DE, WR, OT
Backup Mock Draft Call: OT Jaylen Mayfield, Michigan

43. San Francisco

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: CB Eric Stokes, Georgia

The 49ers have to go after a corner, and it’s not going to do it at the 3. There are plenty around in the 40s.

Team Needs 1. CB, 2. QB, 3. DT
Backup Mock Draft Call: DT Levi Onwuzurike, Washington

44. Dallas

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: DT Levi Onwuzurike, Washington

More defense, more defense, more defense. The Cowboys will go corner at the 10, and now it’s time to work on the defensive front.

Team Needs 1. DB, 2. DT, 3. LB
Backup Mock Draft Call: DE Gregory Rousseau, Miami

NEXT: 2021 NFL Mock Draft, Second Round Picks 45-52

2021 NFL Mock Draft, Second Round Picks 45-52

45. Jacksonville (from Minnesota)

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: CB Kelvin Joseph, Kentucky

There are plenty of talented cornerbacks on the board, and the Jaguars finally help out the defensive side after going all offense with the first three picks.

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. OT, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: DE Gregory Rousseau, Miami

46. New England

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: DE Gregory Rousseau, Miami

Bill Belichick’s track record drafting wide receivers isn’t anything great, but he needs to keep pumping coins into that slot machine. He won’t do it here – even with several decent options on the board. He’ll grab more help for his D line.

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. WR, 3. DL
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Tylan Wallace, Oklahoma State

47. Los Angeles Chargers

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: OT Sam Cosmi, Texas

The Chargers can’t get enough offensive linemen to protect Justin Herbert. They’ll get one at the 14, and a versatile one at the 47 to form the cornerstone of the line for the next several years.

Team Needs 1. OT, 2. DB, 3. DT
Backup Mock Draft Call: S Richie Grant, UCF

48. Las Vegas

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: OT Jaylen Mayfield, Michigan

It’ll kill Mike Mayock to pass on Richie Grant, but he needs an offensive tackle.

Team Needs 1. OT, 2. LB, 3. S
Backup Mock Draft Call: S Richie Grant, UCF

49. Arizona

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: WR Tylan Wallace, Oklahoma State

Kyler Murray needs more options than DeAndre Hopkins. The Cardinals might go corner even if they take one at the 16.

Team Needs 1. CB, 2. RB, 3. WR
Backup Mock Draft Call: RB Javonte Williams, North Carolina

50. Miami

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: RB Javonte Williams, North Carolina

Miami might think about another receiver even after taking one at the 6, but this is a good value slot for a running back who might solve a slew of issues.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. OL, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Dyami Brown, North Carolina

51. Washington

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: LB Dylan Moses, Alabama

He’s sliding way too far considering his talent level. The Football Team might think about adding to the receiving corps, and a few offensive tackles are available, but Moses fits.

Team Needs 1. OT, 2. QB, 3. LB
Backup Mock Draft Call: OT/OG Dillon Radunz, North Dakota State

52. Chicago

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: S Richie Grant, UCF

The Bears will take the best defensive back on the board after likely addressing the offensive front in the first round.

Team Needs 1. QB, 2. OT, 3. CB
Backup Mock Draft Call: CB Elijah Molden, Washington

NEXT: 2021 NFL Mock Draft, Second Round Picks 53-64

2021 NFL Mock Draft, Second Round Picks 53-64

53. Tennessee

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: OT/OG Dillon Radunz, North Dakota State

The Titans will take a few offensive linemen. They can wait for one after going for a receiver at the 22.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. OT, 3. DB
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Dyami Brown, North Carolina

54. Indianapolis

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: OT Stone Forsythe, Florida

It’s possible the Colts flip-flop and get their offensive tackle at the 21 and go with a pass rusher here, but the better value in the first round will be for the defensive side.

Team Needs 1. DE, 2. OT, 3. CB
Backup Mock Draft Call: OT Spencer Brown, Northern Iowa

55. Pittsburgh

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: C Landon Dickerson, Alabama

The Steelers will catch a major break. They’ll think about Dickerson at the 24 but will wait to get a center until here.

Team Needs 1. OT, 2. CB, 3. RB
Backup Mock Draft Call: CB Elijah Molden, Oregon

56. Seattle

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: DE/LB Ronnie Perkins, Oklahoma

It’s Seattle’s first pick, and while it has to get a corner at some point – it doesn’t have many chances – the disruptive ability of Perkins will be too much to pass on.

Team Needs
 1. CB. 2. LB, 3. WR
Backup Mock Draft Call: CB Aaron Robinson, UCF

57. Los Angeles Rams

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: CB Aaron Robinson, UCF

The Rams need a lot, and they’ll have their pick of need guys for this spot. Robinson will be the strongest corner on the board.

Team Needs
1. OL, 2. DT,  3. CB
Backup Mock Draft Call: OG Aaron Banks, Notre Dame

58. Kansas City (from Baltimore)

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: DE Joe Tryon, Washington

Even after going after upgrades this offseason the Chiefs still need help bulking up the O line. They need a pass rushing boost even more.

Team Needs 1. DE, 2. CB,  3. WR
Backup Mock Draft Call: C Creed Humphrey, Oklahoma

59. Cleveland

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: WR Dyami Brown, North Carolina

Assuming the Browns go get a pass rusher at the 26, now there’s a chance to go after a value pick. The more weapons for this attack, the better.

Team Needs 1. DE, 2. DT, 3. OT
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Amari Rodgers, Clemson

60. New Orleans

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: WR Amari Rodgers, Clemson

The Saints have to go with a few receivers as the draft goes on. They’ll get a corner in the late first hoping a decent receiver will slide on down to here.

Team Needs 1. WR, 2. CB, 3. LB
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Tylan Wallace, Oklahoma State

61. Buffalo

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: TE Pat Friermuth, Penn State

This wouldn’t exactly be a need pick, but the Bills would use a reliable safety valve who can be a big play weapon up the middle with the second-best tight end in the draft.

Team Needs 1. DE/EDGE, 2. RB, 3. CB
Backup Mock Draft Call: CB Paulson Adebo, Stanford

62. Green Bay

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: WR Anthony Schwartz, Auburn

The guy won the MVP with the receiving corps he has, but the Packers could add even more flash by giving Aaron Rodgers one of the fastest home run hitters in the draft.

Team Needs 1. CB, 2. OT, 3. DE
Backup Mock Draft Call: DE Patrick Jones, Pitt

63. Kansas City

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: DE Patrick Jones, Pitt

In sort of a strange moment when both teams might be thinking the same thing – speed at wide receiver and pass rushing help – Green Bay takes one, Kansas City takes the other.

Team Needs 1. DE, 2. CB, 3. WR
Backup Mock Draft Call: WR Anthony Schwartz, Auburn

64. Tampa Bay

2021 NFL Mock Draft Pick: LB Joseph Ossai, Texas

The Bucs keep on adding on to the defense with reinforcements to keep the rotation going up front.

Team Needs
1. DL, 2. WR, 3. QB
Backup Mock Draft Call: LB Chazz Surratt, North Carolina
