2021 NFL draft: Official order of the Rams’ six picks

No team in the NFL has valued first-round picks less than the Los Angeles Rams under GM Les Snead. They haven’t made a pick in the first round since drafting Jared Goff first overall in 2016, and they won’t have a first-rounder until 2024.

That’s what happens when you trade for Brandin Cooks, Jalen Ramsey and Matthew Stafford in a span of three years.

Heading into the 2021 NFL draft, the Rams have limited draft capital. They don’t have a first- or fifth-round pick due to the Ramsey and Austin Corbett deals, but they do still have three selections in the top 103.

The NFL released the complete seven-round order for the upcoming draft, solidifying where each of the Rams’ six picks will be.

  • Round 2: No. 57 overall
  • Round 3: No. 88 overall
  • Round 3: No. 103 overall
  • Round 4: No. 141 overall
  • Round 6: No. 209 overall
  • Round 7: No. 252 overall

The Rams wound up trading their third-round compensatory pick (No. 101) to the Lions in the Stafford deal, rather than their original pick (No. 88), so that saves them 13 slots in the third round.

The 2021 NFL draft begins on Thursday, April 29 with the first round. It continues on Friday, April 30 with Rounds 2 and 3. May 1 will be the final day, concluding with Rounds 4-7.
