On Monday, 2020 Georgia QB commit Carson Beck announced on Twitter that he will be making another trip to Athens this coming Saturday.
At 6’5″, Beck is considered by most experts to be a pro-style quarterback. He is the 94th-ranked player in the 2020 class and the 14th-ranked prospect in the talent-heavy state of Florida.
Beck is from Jacksonville, where he will star for Mandarin High School in his senior year this upcoming season. In 2018, Beck led Mandarin to an 11-4 record and three playoff wins. They were the 48th-ranked high school team in the nation.
Beck committed to UGA over schools such as Florida and Alabama and many expect him to contend for the starting spot once Jake Fromm is no longer with the team.
