The Senior Bowl is the place where future NFL legends make a name for themselves and for so many small school prospects over the years, Mobile has been a coming-out party.
The Philadelphia Eagles used the 2016 Senior Bowl as a measuring stick analyzing Carson Wentz and the results have been fairly positive since Howie Roseman used the No. 2 pick on the former small school signal-caller.
Saturday’s contest will be the proving ground for several future stars and we’ve presented 7 small school prospects for the Eagles to watch on Saturday.
****
1.Antonio Gandy-Golden, Liberty
The 6-4, 215-pound stud put on a show in Mobile and firmly put himself on the map as a player to watch as we progress towards the NFL draft.
Gandy-Golden has all the tools and 4.5 40-yard times that could catapult him up, draft boards.
Last season, Gandy-Golden racked up 79 catches for 1,396 yards and 10 touchdowns.
He excels at boxing out defenders and catching the ball at its highest point.

2.Kyle Dugger | S | Lenoir-Rhyne
Dugger is the only Division II athlete at the Senior Bowl and that speaks volumes for his skillset. The six-foot, 217 pounds safety is moving up the draft boards thanks to his solid production at Senior Bowl practices.
During his career at Lenoir-Rhyne Dugger recorded 237 tackles, 10 interceptions, 36 pass breakups, 6 forced fumbles, 6 fumble recoveries, and two blocked kicks to go along with six punt return touchdowns.
His ability to hold up in coverage makes him that more appealing as a candidate.

3. Ben Bartch | OL | St. John’s
Bartch is powerful and used a special diet to gain 70 pounds, turning himself into one of the elite small school linemen college football.
Bartch ascension at the Senior Bowl even caught the eye of former Eagles star, Tra Thomas.
With the Eagles getting older along the offensive line, Bartch is a name for the Eagles to look at on day 2.

4. Alex Taylor | OT | South Carolina State
The Eagles are always looking for a developmental tackle prospect and South Carolina State Alex Taylor is quickly emerging. At 6-foot-8, 308 pounds with 36 1/8″ arms and an 88″ wingspan, Taylor would flourish under the tutelage of Jeff Stoutland.

5. Harrison Bryant | TE | FAU
The Eagles already have two really good tight ends, but you can never have enough versatility. Bryant was college football’s highest-graded tight end this season and could be an option for the Eagles.
In FAU’s season opener against Ohio State, Bryant had six catches for 79 yards. Bryant can be utilized as another weapon in Philadelphia, who can split out wide, play from the slot, or at H-back.

6. Jeremy Chinn | S | Southern Illinois
A consensus first-team All-American, Chinn is a safety that can excel in coverage.
Chinn is one of three FCS players on the North Team, coached by Detroit Lions coach Matt Patricia, and one of four FCS players selected for the game. He is the only player from the Missouri Valley Football Conference in the game, and just the third player in Saluki history to accept an invite to the game.

7.Akeem Davis-Gaither | LB | Appalachian State
Davis-Gaither was the most active linebacker on Wednesday, rapidly filling running lanes and tipping a pass in coverage.
Built-in the mode of Nigel Bradham, Davis-Gaither has great speed, can tackle in the open field and can cover tight ends and wideouts.
