2020 NFL draft: Top 28 set after divisional round of playoffs

The New York Jets possess the 11th overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft. That’s not news, though.

What is, however, is the three first-round picks that the AFC East rival Dolphins own are now set in stone.

After Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs, the Texans officially slotted themselves at No. 26 in the upcoming draft. That pick, however, belongs to the Dolphins thanks to the preseason trade in which the Texans swapped their 2020 first-round pick, a 2021 first-rounder and a 2021 second-round pick for left tackle Laremy Tunsil and wide receiver Kenny Stills.

The Dolphins also traded away a Pro Bowl talent in safety Minkah Fitzpatrick for another first-round selection in 2020 from the Steelers.

The Jets, who have many holes to fill, will hope to find answers with the No. 11 pick. The Dolphins, however, increased their odds by possessing the fifth-overall pick, the Steelers’ 18th and, now, the Texans’ at 26.

Here’s a look at the top 28 picks in the NFL draft order, which are now set after the divisional round of the playoffs:
