2020 NFL Draft: Titans select Kristian Fulton with No. 61 pick

With the No. 61 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans have selected cornerback Kristian Fulton out of LSU.

This is a sensational pick for the Titans, as Fulton was projected by every expert imaginable to go somewhere in the first round. Tennessee gets him at the end of the second instead.

Fulton offers the Titans some versatility. Not only can he play on the outside, but Fulton can also play in the slot if need be. He’s the type of player that can make an impact immediately, and in multiple ways.

Here’s what Draft Wire’s Jacob Infante had to say about him in his scouting report from March.

“Fulton is a fluid, lengthy and technically-sound cornerback who brings instant starting potential as a prospect in the first round. He brings solid physicality in press and can also play in off-man, and he has more than adequate athleticism for his position. He should be one of the first defensive backs to come off the board in this year’s draft.”

General manager Jon Robinson’s Day 2 magic continues.

After making their first pick in the second round on Day 2, the Titans have one more selection coming up at the end of the third round (No. 93 overall).
