The Indianapolis Colts are in a position to select a quarterback early in the 2020 NFL draft. With the Nos.13, 34 and 44 picks in the first two rounds and plenty of quarterback prospects coming out in this year’s draft, the Colts have plenty of options if they want to add a young player to the quarterback room.
All eyes will be on Indianapolis at the end of February as the NFL Combine will be underway. This will give the Colts the chance to meet with prospects and watch them run through drills on their home turf.
Here are some quarterback prospects to watch at the 2020 NFL Combine:

Joe Burrow | LSU | Age: 23
The presumptive No. 1 overall pick, Burrow threw 60 touchdowns last season and led his school to the National Championship and won the Heisman. The Colts won’t get a chance to draft Burrow, who is likely to go to the Cincinnati Bengals with the first pick in the draft.
Burrow is ranked No. 1 in Draft Wire’s quarterback rankings for 2020.

Jacob Eason | Washington | Age: 22
A possible early-second round prospect the Colts could land at No. 34, Eason has elite size and an elite arm but was only a one-year starter at Washington. If the Colts are looking for a project to develop, Eason could be a target. This would also allow them to focus on other areas in the first round, such as interior defensive line or edge rusher.
Eason is ranked No. 5 in Draft Wire’s quarterback rankings for 2020.

Jake Fromm | Georgia | Age: 21
Another second-round prospect the Colts could get in the draft, Fromm was a three-year starter at Georgia where he threw 78 touchdowns and only 18 interceptions. While his numbers are stout, there are concerns about his ceiling as a passer. This is likely to hurt his stock when it comes to the draft, especially if he proves to be an inadequate downfield passer.
Fromm is ranked No. 7 in Draft Wire’s quarterback rankings for 2020.

Anthony Gordon | Washington State
An intriguing prospect out of Washington State who’s projected to go in the middle rounds. Gordon comes from the Run and Shoot offense, but has flashed potential. He might be an option for the Colts if they wanted to really wait on a quarterback, potentially as a late Day 2 or early Day 3 pick.
Gordon is ranked No. 8 in Draft Wire’s quarterback rankings for 2020.

Justin Herbert | Oregon | Age: 21
Herbert has been projected all over the place in mock drafts, some as early as top-five and some as late as the late first round. Herbert was also a participant at the Senior Bowl where he had a very strong showing. He has the arm strength and mobility to warrant a top-10 pick, which is what could happen with so many teams ahead of the Colts potentially looking at quarterbacks.
Herbert is ranked No. 3 in Draft Wire’s quarterback rankings for 2020.

Jordan Love | Utah State | Age: 21
Love personifies “unpredictable” in his game and his draft stock. A fan favorite among Colts fans, Love, could be available at No. 13 or be long gone when the Colts are on the clock. A big arm, mobility and a high ceiling make him an intriguing prospect for the Colts to look at in the first round.
Love is ranked No. 4 in Draft Wire’s quarterback rankings for 2020.

Tua Tagovailoa | Alabama | Age: 21
Depending on the health and medical reports, Tagovailoa could go top-5 or be on the board when the Colts are up at No. 13. Tagovailoa is arguably the most talented QB prospect coming out this year. He received some encouraging news about his prognosis but won’t be participating in football activities at the Combine. The Colts should still be able to meet with him in Indy, however.
Tagovailoa is ranked No. 2 in Draft Wire’s quarterback rankings for 2020.
