2020 NFL Draft prospect K’Lavon Chaisson works out wearing Ravens gear

The NFL seems set on holding the 2020 Draft this year in spite of the current limitations being imposed due to the Covid19 outbreak. As of right now, the 2020 NFL Draft is set to take place from April 23-25, though it might look a lot different than you’ve seen it in previous years. As a result, prospects still need to stay ready and are finding ways to work out while maintaining social distancing guidelines.

That was certainly evident in a video of LSU linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson working on his footwork, shared by Bob Slovak of ABC13 in Houston. The eagle-eyed viewer may have noticed Chaisson was wearing a Baltimore Ravens shirt during his workout.

Chaisson is likely on Baltimore’s board as a potential first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Ravens need to beef up their pass rush this offseason, even after the additions of Calais Campbell and Derek Wolfe. Chaisson comes into the 2020 NFL Draft with some solid stats, getting 6.5 sacks and 60 tackles, with 13.5 being for a loss last season for LSU during their National Title campaign. Chaisson has drawn comparison to former 49ers pass rusher Aldon Smith from NFL.com draft expert Lance Zierlein.

The problem for Baltimore might be where they pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Most mock drafts, like Draft Wire’s most recent one, have Chaisson getting selected around the middle of the first round. With the Ravens sitting at No. 28, they might have to pull off a rare trade up to go get him.

Chaisson working out with a Ravens shirt might be nothing, but it’s certainly something to consider at a time where everyone is trying to figure out who teams are interested in.
