The draft is coming up quick. Until the COVID-19 outbreak happened, the draft was to take place in the Raiders’ future home of Las Vegas. The festivities were canceled, but the draft is still happening. It will just be virtual instead, which means the event will take place from homes and studios across the country.
Coaches and GM’s across the league will communicate with each other over Zoom and conference calls. They will make their pick or make their trade and Commissioner Roger Goodell will make the announcement from his home in New York.
The NFL is making it work. Instead of an actual on-site green room with players ready to take the stage if they’re name is called, they have 58 players who will be virtual participants, so you will see them react from their location upon their drafting. Here is the full list of 58 players.
