We’ve reached the Elite Eight in our would-be 2020 NCAA Tournament Bracket, where fans decide which college basketball team would have been crowned the national champion.
There were a few wild comeback victories in the Sweet 16, as both Maryland and San Diego State charged back from early deficits during our voting period. Arizona State seemed like a juggernaut entering the Sweet 16 and led through one day of voting, but thousands of Maryland fans showed up on day two to push the Terps through to the Elite Eight. In the West Region, nearly 8,000 people voted for San Diego State after the Aztecs fell behind early to West Virginia.
Polls for the Elite Eight will close at 10:00 a.m. ET on Friday, April 2nd.
