The launch player ratings for Madden 2020 have finally been released by EA Sports.
There, the Cincinnati Bengals fared about as expected. Fans already knew the extensive list of rookie ratings thanks to a prior release.
Monday, it wasn’t any shock to see Geno Atkins leading the way for the Bengals as the team’s highest-overall player and one of two players sitting on 90-plus ratings:

For the most part, the launch ratings aren’t too surprising. It’s nice to see Joe Mixon get his shine as a top-five presence and perhaps a bit interesting to see Tyler Eifert sticking around near the top. One could argue Carlos Dunlap is underrated, too.
As always, the players themselves will have chances to up these ratings as the season progresses — these are merely the out-of-box ratings that won’t last too long.
