Drivers have taken on new shapes with hotter faces and designs that help square the clubface while providing greater forgiveness on mis-hits.

Cleveland’s newest driver, the Launcher HB Turbo, is loaded with technologies to help recreational golfers achieve more distance and accuracy off the tee.
XXIO Eleven
Price: $649.99
The XXIO Eleven driver was designed to make it easier to create clubhead speed. The new Weight Plus system incorporates a 13-gram brass-and-rubber plug inside the top of the shaft, counterbalancing the weight of the head and making it feel lighter.

Cobra King Speedzone
Price: $449.00
The new King SZ drivers feature a CNC-milled titanium face that allows Cobra to precisely control the thickness. Cobra said the King Speedzone’s sweet spot is bigger and protects ball speed on mis-hits more effectively.
Mizuno ST200
Price: $399.99
The ST200 aims to deliver forgiveness and mid to low spin. The crown is carbon fiber and the face is forged SAT 2041 titanium, which Mizuno said is stronger and more flexible than titanium commonly used in drivers.

TaylorMade used new materials in strategic ways and tweaked the shape for its SIM line of drivers to pass the eye test of discerning players and deliver enhanced speed and forgiveness.
