The Tokyo Games organizing committee plans to start accepting applications for the refund of tickets sold to residents in Japan in November, it was learned Saturday. According to committee officials, the refund procedures for the Olympics are scheduled to be carried out in November, while those for the Paralympics will take place in December.
The committee has in general decided to grant refunds for tickets that have already been sold while recognizing the validity of those purchased for the Games scheduled for next summer.
Because ticket purchase methods were varied, from credit cards to cash, the committee is to soon announce refunding methods.
