2020 betting tips that could make you a fortune next year

It's been a year to remember for sport for both good and bad reasons - but we're set for an even bigger 2020.

With massive boxing bouts on the way, crunch years for Ireland's football and rugby sides as well as the Olympic Games on the horizon, there's no shortage of excitement.

Leading English bookmaker Coral has priced up a number on New Year specials ahead of 2020, one of which is the 5-1 they are offering on Anthony Joshua to be the undisputed heavyweight world champion next year.

Rory McIlroy is 9-4 to land a Major Championship in golf in 2020, while Dublin and Tipperary are favourites to dominate in Gaelic games once again.

"2020 is going to be a huge year in sport with the Euros and an Olympics on the calendar. It could also be a big 12 months for Anthony Joshua who is being backed to be an undisputed world champion next year," said Coral's John Hill.

"It could be the year that Rory McIlroy returns to winning ways in the Major Championships in golf," added Hill.
