Justin Rose finished his round with three consecutive birdies to post an opening round score of 65 on Thursday, and held the 18-hole lead at Pebble Beach by one stroke. Popular pre-tournament picks Rickie Fowler, Xander Schauffele, Rory McIlroy and Francesco Molinari all got off to strong starts in the opening round, and with the weather expected to remain calm, we could see more players going low in the second round.
