Despite two preseason games remaining, the Pittsburgh Steelers depth chart is starting to come into focus. We decided at the midway point of the preseason it was time to make our predictions for the offensive starters.
The biggest deviation here from what you might see elsewhere is the exclusion of fullback Roosevelt Nix in favor of a third wide receiver. We understand Nix is the only fullback on the roster but it’s highly unlikely he is playing very much. Last season Nix played fewer than 10 percent of the offensive snaps so it is far more likely the Steelers trot out a third wide receiver than a fullback.
