2019 Saints schedule to be released Wednesday night

The New Orleans Saints have known who they will play in 2019 ever since last season’s final whistle. What they haven’t known is the order in which they will line up against their opponents, or when. That’s going to change Wednesday night, the NFL announced. The full slate of games for all 32 teams will be formally unveiled on NFL Network at 7 p.m. CT.

Except for a home-and-home series with each of their NFC South opponents, the Saints will see teams from the NFC West and AFC South. They will also face the NFC North-champion Chicago Bears and NFC East-champion Dallas Cowboys.

Here’s the Saints’ home slate:

  • Atlanta Falcons
  • Carolina Panthers
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • Arizona Cardinals
  • San Francisco 49ers
  • Houston Texans
  • Indianapolis Colts

And the list of road opponents:

  • Atlanta Falcons
  • Carolina Panthers
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Chicago Bears
  • Los Angeles Rams
  • Seattle Seahawks
  • Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Tennessee Titans

The Saints have some fun games ahead, notably road trips to Los Angeles, Chicago, and Seattle. At home, they will host Andrew Luck’s Colts and Deshaun Watson’s Texans. They’ll get a chance for redemption after last year’s upset against the Cowboys, to boot. The NFL can’t lock in these games dates soon enough.
