2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremony: How and when to watch

The 2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony takes place Saturday, Aug. 3 at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

The Class of 2019 features 8 inductees: cornerback Champ Bailey, contributor Pat Bowlen, contributor Gil Brandt, tight end Tony Gonzalez, cornerback Ty Law, center Kevin Mawae, safety Ed Reed and safety Johnny Robinson.

The ceremony will be held from 4:00-7:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN and the NFL Network. Over 130 Gold Jackets – living Hall of Famers – are expected to attend the event.

This year’s class features a former Seahawk, guard Kevin Mawae, who was originally selected by Seattle in the second round – No. 36 overall – in 1994 NFL draft. Mawae spent four seasons in Seattle before heading to the Jets and then the Titans.

Over his career, Mawae was named to eight Pro Bowls, including six consecutive seasons from 1999–2004, and seven All-Pro First Teams. This was his third time as a finalist on the Hall of Fame ballot.
