There will be no Triple Crown hype surrounding the 144th Preakness Stakes on Saturday, as 2019 Kentucky Derby winner Country House will not be racing at Pimlico following the controversial finish at Churchill Downs. Maximum Security, the horse that finished first in the Derby and was later disqualified, is not in the Preakness field, but there are a few horses you’ll remember from the run for the roses.
The 2019 Preakness Stakes will begin at 6:48 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 18th, on NBC.
