2019 NFL Win totals have been posted and New England still leads the way

NFL win totals have been released by CG Technologies and the Patriots are still at the top despite losing key members of their Super Bowl-winning squad. The Patriots are followed by the other three teams that were in the NFL final four — the Chiefs, Rams, and Saints — and the Browns are one of four teams that didn’t make the playoffs last season but are projected at nine wins.

Patriots: 11
Chiefs: 10.5
Rams: 10.5
Saints: 10.5
Chargers: 10
Bears: 9.5
Colts: 9.5
Eagles: 9.5
Browns: 9
Packers: 9
Steelers: 9
Vikings: 9
Cowboys: 8.5
Falcons: 8.5
Ravens: 8.5
Seahawks: 8.5
Texans: 8.5
Titans: 8.5
49ers: 8
Jaguars: 8
Panthers: 8
Broncos: 7
Jets: 7
Lions: 7
Bengals: 6
Bills: 6
Buccaneers: 6
Giants: 6
Raiders: 6
Redskins: 6
Cardinals: 5
Dolphins: 5

If we use these win totals, it looks like the  playoffs will be the following:

AFC East: Patriots
AFC North: Browns or Steelers
AFC South: Colts
AFC West: Chiefs
Wildcard One: Chargers
Wildcard Two: Browns or Steelers

NFC East: Eagles
NFC North: Bears
NFC South: Saints
NFC West: Rams
Wildcard One: Packers
Wildcard Two: Vikings

The bottom of the list is to be expected. The Cardinals were not very good last year and are projected for five wins. They may have changed their coach, but a rebuild won’t happen overnight. The Dolphins may say they aren’t tanking, but they are tanking and five wins could be considered a good year in 2019.

The rest of the odds are to be expected with a bunch of teams clumped together between six and eight wins.
