2019 NFL mock draft: You make the pick, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at No. 5

It’s time to fan-source a 2019 NFL mock draft.

Let’s keep things rolling with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at No. 5 overall.

Here’s the board so far:

1. Arizona Cardinals | Kyler Murray | QB | Oklahoma

2. San Francisco 49ers | Nick Bosa | EDGE | Ohio State

3. New York Jets | Josh Allen | EDGE | Kentucky

4. Oakland Raiders | Quinnen Williams | DL | Alabama

The Bucs have plenty of needs, particularly on defense, and some strong options in this scenario. While barely losing out on Williams would hurt, Houston’s Ed Oliver would be a fantastic consolation prize if Tampa Bay is targeting a successor for expensive veteran defensive lineman Gerald McCoy. With Kwon Alexander’s departure via free agency, fellow LSU linebacker Devin White could be the perfect replacement.

If the Bucs wanted to go a bit more outside the box, they could go after a versatile edge defender for new defensive coordinator Todd Bowles’ 3-4 scheme, such as Mississippi State’s Montez Sweat or Florida State’s Brian Burns. There are other dark-horse candidates, as well, such as LSU corner Greedy Williams, Florida offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor, or Michigan defensive lineman Rashan Gary.

You make the pick.
