2019 NFL mock draft: Colts take WR N’Keal Harry

The Indianapolis Colts have several ways they can go with their first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and the mock drafts show it as there are many versions addressing different needs.

In the latest mock draft from Sporting News, the Colts address a major need by selecting Arizona State wide receiver N’Keal Harry with the No. 26 overall pick.

26. Indianapolis Colts

N’Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State

Andrew Luck had a big season despite limited pop at receiver beyond T.Y. Hilton. Harry would complement Hilton as a big (6-4, 216 pounds) matchup nightmare through the red zone who also can provide another strong intermediate-to-deep threat. Harry’s stock has the potential to shoot up, a la Mike Evans, so Stanford’s J.J. Arcega-Whiteside also must remain on the Colts’ radar.

While there is a chance Harry’s stock drives him toward a pick in the middle of the first round, the Colts have options outside of taking a wide receiver. They will also be looking to address the defensive line and secondary during the draft.

Harry (6’4, 213) has ideal size to work opposite T.Y. Hilton on the outside and eventually take over as the WR1 once the latter is finished torching opposing secondaries.

In 12 games at ASU in 2018, Harry caught 73 passes for 1,088 yards and nine touchdowns. He averaged 13.6 yards per reception throughout his career with the Sun Devils.

There is still a lot of time until the draft gets here, but Harry’s talent and the need for the Colts makes him a prospect to watch over the next few months.
