The Tennessee Titans have remained quiet thus far as free agency kicks off, but they did make a smart long-term move at the safety position.
Monday afternoon, it was announced the Titans would sign Kenny Vaccaro to a 4-year deal worth $26M, with $11.5M in guarantees.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport originally took to Twitter with the news.
Vaccaro proved he was worthy of a key role in 2018, filling the void of a sidelined Johnathan Cyprien — a player the Titans are expected to release soon.
On the season, Vaccaro recorded 58 combined tackles, two sacks, four passes defensed and one interception.
