2019 NFL draft: Washington OT Kaleb McGary visiting Falcons tomorrow

One of the top offensive tackle prospects in the 2019 NFL draft is visiting the Falcons this week. According to Adam Schefter at ESPN, Washington’s Kaleb McGary is in Seattle with the Seahawks today and will be in Atlanta tomorrow.

McGary’s arms have gotten a lot of attention – at the combine they were measured at 32.875 inches. However, McGary checks many other boxes for a potential stud OL at the next level.

In addition to a remarkable story, McGary was a star in college and was named first-team All-Pac 12 twice.

Some analysts are projecting he will move inside to guard, but he’s played right tackle his entire career. In Atlanta that’s where he would likely play – replacing Ryan Schraeder, who has been designated as a June 1 cut.

Seattle isn’t the only other team interested in McGary, naturally. If the Falcons really want him then they’ll probably have to use a first or a second-round pick.
