The 2019 NFL draft is only a month away. So we decided to update our Pittsburgh Steelers mock draft with a twist. We are including a trade. The Steelers got a third and fifth-round pick for Antonio Brown and in this scenario, the Steelers use them in a package to move up into the middle of the second round.
We also took a different approach to the picks, instead not taking the perspective of the GM and instead simply mocking the players I think Pittsburgh would be most likely to draft.
First round-Deandre Baker | Cornerback | Georgia
Teams rarely challenged former Georgia cornerback Deandre Baker last season. Baker has excellent footwork and his speed and quickness on the field are exceptional. Baker has been a consistent performer throughout his career and is a supreme competitor.
Second round-Chase Winovich | edge rusher | Michigan

Pittsburgh has to find some additional depth at outside linebacker and former Michigan star Chase Winovich checks all the boxes. He’s got a high motor, sneaky athleticism and is more than just a pass rusher.
Second round-Marquise Brown | wide receiver | Oklahoma

When you lose a receiver with explosive speed and ridiculous skills with the football in his hands, you want to replace them. Why not do it with his cousin. Oklahoma’s Marquise Brown is built and plays very much like his older cousin and would be a perfect fit with JuJu Smith-Schuster and Donte Moncrief.
Third round-Justice Hill | running back | Oklahoma State

The Steelers have James Conner and Jaylen Samuels at running back but the offense does lack a legitimate home run threat in the backfield. Pittsburgh has already shown an interest in Oklahoma State running back Justice Hill and in the third round, a weapon like Hill is a bargain.
