2019 NFL draft trade value chart: How much are the Cardinals’ picks worth?

With the Arizona Cardinals holding the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft, some would like to see them trade it and acquire multiple picks. Just how much can they get in exchange for the coveted top pick?

It depends on the value of the pick.

Here is one of the trade value charts that are used to determine the value of picks.

The Cardinals’ top pick is worth 3,000 points.

Here is the full chart:

Trade value chart

Take the Oakland Raiders, for example, a commonly connected possible trade partner.

They hold the fourth overall pick in the draft, which is worth 1,800 points. They would have to make up 1,200 points to get to the value of the Cardinals’ selection. Using this chart, the Cardinals’ pick would be worth the Raiders’ pick at No. 4, their pick at No. 27 and their second-round pick at No. 35.

If the New York Giants at sixth overall were to try and trade up, they would have to make up 1,400 points. Their other first-round pick at No. 17 and their second-round pick at No. 37 would equal 1,480 points.

For the Washington Redskins to move up, it would be nearly impossible. Their first-round pick at No. 15 is worth only 1,050 points. They would have to make up nearly 2,000 points.

They would have to include at least a future first-round pick, while the Giants and Raiders could both get away with picks from only this draft.
