2019 NFL Draft: Titans work out Aggies RB Trayveon Williams on Thursday

With the 2019 NFL Draft now just weeks away, teams are sending scouts around the country to evaluate college prospects to potentially add to the roster for the upcoming season.

According to a report from ESPN’s Turron Davenport, the Tennessee Titans are among the NFL teams working out Texas A&M running back Trayveon Williams on Thursday.

Williams is expected to be a third or fourth round talent by the majority of analysts.

The Titans already have a couple of reliable names at the position in Derrick Henry and Dion Lewis. The team also made the choice to retain rusher David Fluellen, signing him to a one-year deal earlier this year.

But bringing a talent like Williams on to the roster could only mean more depth and competition at the position — both positives.

Williams finished out the 2018 season with 271 carries for 1,760 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also reeled in 27 receptions for 278 yards and one touchdown.

On a three-year college career, Williams totaled 600 rushing attempts for 3,615 yards and 34 touchdowns. He racked up 66 receptions for 561 yards and a touchdown as well.
