2019 NFL Draft: Titans may have interest in Virginia’s Juan Thornhill, Tim Harris

Tennessee Titans scouts have been all over the country getting a closer look at college prospects as the 2019 NFL Draft looms less than a month away.

According to a report by ESPN’s Turron Davenport, the Titans have shown some interest in Virginia safety Juan Thornhill and cornerback Tim Harris, putting them through drills during the field workout on Thursday.

They were also giving looks to some other defensive backs at the team’s Pro Day.

Thornhill finished 2018 with 98 tackles, six interceptions and seven passes defensed. On his college career, he totaled 208 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 13 interceptions, 26 passes defensed and one forced fumble.

Harris was a force at cornerback, capping off his last season with 36 tackles, two interceptions and four passes defensed. Over six years at Virginia, Harris racked up 109 tackles, four interceptions, 17 passes defensed and one fumble recovery.

It will be interesting to see if Thornhill or Harris is a part of the Titans’ plans moving forward as the draft kicks off on April 25.
