2019 NFL Draft: Titans could select Malone WR Ashton Dulin in the fourth round

The Tennessee Titans have addressed the majority of the team’s most urgent needs ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft, making some wise moves early on in free agency.

One of these was the addition of slot receiver Adam Humphries, who is coming off a career year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He and wideout Corey Davis will be two of Tennessee’s most important weapons on offense, but the Titans could still stand to bolster the position with a late-round selection.

They could do this by selecting Malone receiver Ashton Dulin at the No. 121 overall pick in the fourth round.

Dulin told the Draft Wire he had met with the Titans at the combine, referring to the rest of his meeting as “informal.”

“I had one formal meeting, and that was with the Tennessee Titans,” he said. “Everything else was just informal.

Dulin has brought an element of explosiveness to an overall unsuccessful DII program, and has shown a high level of versatility function as a ball carrier, pass catcher and kick returner.

He could be a much better route-runner, but his NFL level size, speed, ball skills and abilities as a kick returner could still make him a late selection in a deep draft.

Over the past three years, Dulin has averaged 98 yards per game, and ran a verified 4.47 in the spring.

In 2018, he was a Division II All-American and the G-MAC Offensive Player of the Year as a senior, recording 61 catches for 984 yards with 11 touchdown receptions.

Dulin also had 28 kickoff returns for 836 yards and a D2-leading three touchdowns.
