Thanks to the trade sending wide receiver Antonio Brown to the Oakland Raiders, the Pittsburgh Steelers still have two picks on day two of the 2019 NFL draft.
Unfortunately, because of the trade up, we are now looking to pick No. 66 and No. 83 and the best chances to continue to improve the team. Here’s our updated mock draft for day two.
Third round (66)
EDGE Jachai Polite, Florida
Polite seems to be falling due to a poor combine but put on the tape and you see a relentless pass rusher with an excellent first step. He’d be an ideal third edge rusher to back up T.J. Watt and Bud Dupree.
Third round (83)
WR Andy Isabella, UMass
With the addition of Donte Moncrief in free agency, the Steelers can focus on adding an elite speed element at wide receiver. No receiver in this draft deals with the speed of Isabella. He ran a 4.31 forty-yard dash at the combine and his film backs up his ability to run away from coverage.
