2019 NFL Draft: Potential Titans WR target Marquise Brown draws comparison to DeSean Jackson

With mock drafts in abundance in preparation for the 2019 NFL Draft, several analysts have the Tennessee Titans projected to select a wide receiver in the first round of action.

Many predict the Titans will specifically go with Oklahoma wideout Marquise “Hollywood” Brown with the No. 19 overall pick.

On a conference call Wednesday morning, ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay referred to Brown as “one of the fastest, most explosive receivers” that he’s ever put eyes on.

Titans team reporter Jim Wyatt took to Twitter with some information from McShay’s recent conference call with reporters, in which McShay also drew a comparison between Brown and star receiver DeSean Jackson.

Acquiring someone like Brown in the draft could give the Titans a significant upgrade within an up-and-coming offense. After all, picking up a pass-catcher to complement Corey Davis is high up on the team’s list of priorities.

And if Brown is able to reach the peak level of someone like Jackson, the Titans will certainly want him to spend his career in two-toned blue.

Only time will tell if the Titans make the move when they’re on the clock on April 25.
