2019 NFL Draft: Patriots trade back in third round, netting three picks

The New England Patriots have traded the 73rd overall pick to the Chicago Bears, who gave up the 87th and 162nd pick in 2019 along with a 2020 fourth round pick, according to ESPN’s Field Yates. The Patriots were at 73rd overall after trading back from 64th overall.

The Bears selected Iowa State running back David Montgomery.

For Day 2, the Patriots now hold Nos. 77, 87 and 97. They have made two selections: receiver N’Keal Harry (32nd overall) and cornerback Joejuan Williams (45th overall).
