‘The Packers selected Michigan edge rusher Rashan Gary with the No. 12 overall selection of the 2019 NFL draft.
Gary will line up opposite side of newly acquired defensive end Za’Darius Smith.
Gary was an All-Big Ten selection at Michigan while racking up 137 tackles, 24 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks in three seasons.
Gary was an impact player as a true freshman at Michigan and helped anchor a prolific defensive line. Gary battled injuries throughout his junior season, but still managed to be productive, tallying 44 tackles and seven tackles for loss in nine games.
