2019 NFL draft: Oklahoma OL prospect visiting Panthers today

The Panthers are doing their homework on the top offensive line prospects in this year’s draft class. According to a report by Jourdan Rodrigue at the Charlotte Observer, Oklahoma’s Cody Ford has an official top 30 visit with the team today.

Ford was part of a unit that was the best offensive line in college football last season. The Panthers might see him as a potential upgrade over Greg Van Roten at left guard or as a right tackle to eventually replace Daryl Williams. He has experience playing both positions.

Here’s a look at Ford’s tape from last season, when he played right tackle.

Ford vs. Alabama

Ford vs. UCLA

Ford vs. West Virginia

At the combine, Ford measured in at 6-foot-4, 329 pounds with 34 inch arms and 9.75 inch hands. He’s projected to be a first-round pick.
