2019 NFL Draft: Giants’ remaining picks after a wild first round

The New York Giants used picks No. 6 and No. 17 on Duke quarterback Daniel Jones and Clemson defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, respectively, but they didn’t rest there.

Late on Thursday night, general manager Dave Gettleman & Co. traded back into Round 1, sending picks No. 37 (second round), No. 132 (fourth round) and No. 142 (fifth round) to the Seattle Seahawks for No. 30 overall.

The trade, which netted Georgia cornerback Deandre Baker, shook things up for the Giants down the stretch of the draft quite considerably. And after entering with a league-high 12 total picks, Big Blue is now down to seven remaining.

  • No. 95 (Round 3)
  • No. 108 (Round 4)
  • No. 143 (Round 5)
  • No. 171 (Round 5)
  • No. 180 (Round 6)
  • No. 232 (Round 7)
  • No. 245 (Round 7)

With those seven picks in tow, don’t expect Gettleman to sit on his hands. Similar to Day 1, he’ll be wheeling and dealing as he looks to move back up into the second round or net an additional third round pick.
