The Philadelphia Eagles secured some competition for Nate Sudfeld and picked up another developmental quarterback when the Birds selected Northwestern quarterback, Clayton Thorson, at No. 167 overall in the fifth round.
Thorson finished with the Big Ten’s third-highest adjusted completion percentage last season.
During his time at Northwestern, Thorson completed 58.4% of his passes with 61 touchdowns and 45 interceptions.
