2019 NFL draft: College highlights for Falcons RB Qadree Ollison

Falcons head coach Dan Quinn has been talking up becoming a more power running team this offseason. After drafting two offensive linemen in round one to help in the trenches, the team found its grinder style running back in Pittsburgh’s Qadree Ollison with the first of two fifth-round picks.

Ollison is a 6-foot-1, 228-pound bruiser that has drawn comparisons to Steelers running back James Conner. Let’s take a look at the his tape.

Ollison vs. Clemson

Ollison vs. Penn State

Ollison vs. Virginia Tech

Don’t think of this pick as a replacement for the speedy Tevin Coleman. Ollison gives the Falcons an element they didn’t previously have in the backfield – a true power back.
