After a trade up with the Lions, the Falcons picked Ohio State cornerback Kendall Sheffield in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL draft. This gives Atlanta speed and depth at a major position of need.
Since Sheffield injured his pectoral muscle while bench-pressing at the combine, we didn’t get to see him compete in some key drills that may have affected his draft stock.
