2019 NFL Draft: Chicago Bears select Valdosta St. CB Stephen Denmark in 7th round

The Chicago Bears 2019 NFL Draft ends with Ryan Pace selecting cornerback Stephen Denmark from Valdosta State.

Valdosta State is a Division-II program in the state of Georgia that won the national championship in 2018.

Denmark is another raw athletic prospect for the Bears in the seventh round, standing at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds.

He played his first four seasons at wide receiver before making the switch to cornerback in 2018, recording three interceptions and 12 pass breakups.

Denmark ran a 4.46 40-yard dash at his pro day to go with a 43.5-inch vertical and 10-foot 10-inch broad jump.

He might not be ready to take the field in 2019, but he is an all-upside pick for Pace at the very bottom of the draft who could be a nice developmental project.
