2019 NFL Draft: Alabama OL Jonah Williams presents option for Titans at No. 19

With the 2019 NFL Draft steadily approaching, there’s plenty of speculation about what the Tennessee Titans will do with their first-round pick.

While Garrett Bradbury has largely been chosen for Tennessee if they go with an offensive lineman at No. 19, there’s another name to consider.

The Titans could also pick up Alabama offensive lineman Jonah Williams.

While Williams doesn’t exactly impress on paper and by the measurements, he’s a versatile, well-rounded player who has started since he was a freshman.

The sheer physicality, football knowledge and ability to succeed in difficult matchups will make him an asset for the Titans, who are currently in the process of rebuilding a struggling offensive line.

Will Lomas of Titan Sized sees Williams as a plausible selection.

“The film shows an offensive lineman who understands what he is supposed to do on every play and who can quickly decide who to pick up when the Tide are running zone plays,” he wrote. “His smoothness and ability to get to the next level make up for his lack of top end athleticism because when you are confident in your assignment you don’t have to be a perfect athlete to get the job done.”

Only time will tell if Williams is a part of Robinson and the Titans’ plans as they take to the draft board on April 25.
