For the next handful of days we are going to bombard you with coverage of the NFL combine. Today was the first day where players weighed in. This is simply all about gathering information. Today the running backs and offensive lineman weighed in. You never know with Tom Telesco, but let’s go out on a limb and say that there will not be a running back selected by the Chargers in this years draft. Now an offensive lineman? I’d be willing to bet on that. Here are some of the measurements, per Charles Robinson of Yahoo.
Cajuste might be a name to keep an eye on. Some feel like he will be selected in that late first to early second round range.
Taylor is definitely my guy. I think he is going to be a stud. I’m not sure if he will be there, but if he is, the Chargers should sprint to the podium. He’s that good.
That said, this is a solid class for lineman. There could be some very good players available for them in the second round as well.
