San Diego State vs. Utah State for it all.
It is the matchup between the most experienced team vs. the least experienced team as San Diego State takes on Utah State for the Mountain West title.
The Aztecs are appearing in its 11th Mountain West title game in the 20 year existence of this league, the Aggies are making its first championship game appearance ever in this league.
These two teams split their matchups this year in the regular season and in the conference tournament they have been playing their best basketball all year.
The Aggies have played a bit better as they have the largest margin of victory in the tournament by defeating Fresno State 85-60. However, the Aztecs may have the best win overall after they defeated Nevada, once again. So, maybe the wins are fairly equal when taking into everything with the opponents.
This game has a lot more meaning for the Aztecs because if they are going to make a repeat performance to the NCAA Tournament they must win, but for the Aggies, they more than likely are safe to make the field of 68 but to be 100 percent sure they should take care of business and defeat San Diego State.
